Ancient Olympics

The Olympics began over two in a half  thousand years ago in ancient greece.In those days greece was made up of several different states including Athens Sparta and Corinth and thay were often at war with each other. but when the games were on they held a truce.This great event was held in a place called Olympia and this is why the games are called Olympics they were held once every four years in honor of Zeus, lord of all the gods.Eventually the ancient Olympics were abolished by the Roman Emperor Theodosius the first who was a Christian and didn't like the games because they were detected to a pagan god.but the Olympics were always remembered as a symbol of human achievement and peace.

Jerahd Te Tuhi

First thing in the morning we went off on an adventure to  te tuhi art center.Climbing off the bus with excitement we arrived at te tuhi art gallery.as we walked in Te Tuhi smoke floated in the air.

Then we sat down on the mat and waited for our our art teacher Jeremy.When Jeremy arrived we listened to what he was saying.Then we got up and split into two groups of four.

Then we walked carefully  down a hallway and came to an art room.Jeremy was telling us what

We were doing.We were making our own dream house out of ten shapes.

I looked carefully about where I was putting my ten shapes.

I had a skatepark in my house.Also a slide that leads to my

Garage.

After that we went to watch two movies and one of them was about steel.The other one was a weird one with these statutes,I did not understand a thing in that movie.

Then we came back to the start and had lunch.When the bus arrived got on and went back to school. I had great fun at Te Tuhi.

How I feel about my artwork or the whole process.	Doing my art work made me feel proud because I focused on what I was doing. Drawing my patterns and drawing was frustrating.
What did I enjoy most of all or what was the best thing about my painting.	I enjoyed vived during because it made my work stand out.The best thing about My picture was using different colors .
What did I find hard or I didn’t like.	I didn't like drawing it was so annoying because it was hard figure out what city I was doing. .
How can I do my art better next time?	I could put more buildings in my picture and put more blue in my picture.Next time I will do something different from others.
What was the most interesting thing I did or my friends did.	The most interesting thing that I did was vividering.The other thing that was interesting was using small sticks and white paint.
What did I learn most about?	Don't rush when drawing otherwise you'd have a mistake.That art does not take one day sometimes it takes like two or four weeks.

Great wall of China

The great wall of China was built 2000 years ago for peace to stop the enemy the mongols from destroying the rest of China and conquering the massive country.

As many as 300, 000 workers died during construction,

Emperor qin shi huang orders construction of a northern wall, Genghis khan invaded and conquered China.

The great wall of China was open created 400 years ago,

Beacon’s and watch towers are built to garrison troops. many workers were buried within the wall itself,

The great wall of China is the world’s longest defensive fortification,

But the wall never succeeded in keeping out the barbarians.

Today in China People pay money to go to the great wall of china,

the wall is a toanga to the country. The great wall of China is linked by miles of connecting walls, The relics of the Great Wall and it  fortresses and watchtowers show us China's culture of national pride.

the Great Wall exemplifies a culture of preserving cultural heritage

It represents the awesome ability of the Chinese to work together for the good of the country.

along with the lengths a nation will go to preserve their culture and keep the invaders out

The Great Wall is a powerful symbol.

Jerahd Dream bedroom

Special Feature	Describe each special feature of your dream bedroom.
Car bed	When I wake up in the morning I race my car bed to my tramp.My car bed is faster than lightning.
Ultimate skatepark	I have a skatepark that can change into different kinds of skateparks. It can also be a BMX track.
comfortable coach	My couch is super comfortable and warm. It even has a massager.
PS4.5	This kind of game console is called the PS4.5. It’s graphics look real.You have to  put a mask on and you can control the PS4.5.
Bowling alley	I have a bowling alley that is down hill. It is 20 pin bowling.
Breakfast table	My room has a breakfast table that I can eat anything. It always comes at the right time.

Brushing your teeth	When you brush your teeth You have to swallow your toothpaste.	Drink water
Hair cut	When you cut your hair The hair floats in your everywere	There Is a tube that stops the hair from going out.                 `
Sleeping in space	Floating around your room And bumping your face.	You need a special kind of sleeping bag to hold you in place otherwise  you will float away
Going to the toilet.	When you go number 1 it goes everywhere	You have to do number 1 in a tube that sucks up Your wee.
Nail clipping	If you cut your nails Then it will go up your nose.	You have to you use this Vent thing that blows in your nails

What type of symmetry do your flowers have?	In my garden my flowers have...rotational  symmetry. This means that… It rotates and looks the same 4 times.
What type of symmetry does your butterfly have?	In my garden my butterfly has...reflective symmetry This means that... It's the same on both sides
Pathway What geometry feature does your pathway show?	In my garden my pathway shows…tessellation To make my pathway I...cut the shapes out and glued it on. This means that.. There's no gaps an and the shapes repeat and tessalate.
